Instruction (Getting Your Certification) Most people wouldn't believe how simple it is to start flying...just call Phoenix Aviation and make an appointment to fly with a Certified Flight Instructor! Unlike learning to drive, you don't even need a learner's permit, and there's no minimum age requirement. This makes easy to see if flying's for you. However, most aspiring students will want to go on to solo flying and, ultimately, their private pilot's certification (or beyond), so before you get too far into your flight training without realizing what's required, here are the main things you'll need to do.
